Amelia is about 15 weeks now. Almost 4 months and still a ball of fire. Now and then, she will spend the evening in her kennel. She still barks and whines when she is placed inside the crate, but I have found that Gregorian Chant helps her relax in the evenings. The classical music is relaxing, but somehow the Gregorian Chant, especially in a male voice, is more calming. Raising a puppy has been more challenging than I thought. Amelia is more vocal than my last golden. She barks to say she wants to go outside. She barks when I am cooking dinner. I am not sure if she is hungry for food or attention. She still has her puppy teeth, and hopefully soon she will loose them to her adult teeth. If there is a more challenging part it is her puppy teeth. Sometimes it seems as though her nipping has calmed down, and there are times when she is still biting a lot. She hasn't been chewing on the furniture much, but I am afraid that the chewing will be more when she looses the baby teeth and the adult teeth come in. It is evening now, and she is laying down. Perhaps she is tired from the frequent trips outside today.
