Amelia at 8 Months

My puppy is at 8 months. She is growing bigger, but she is still very much a puppy. She still likes to chew on things in the home, still likes to jump up to greet people, still likes to nibble on my hand when I put on her leash, and still likes to bark at every little thing. Yet, she is sleeping on my bed more and more. She loves to greet the neighbors and bark hello. She loves to play fetch. She is very stubborn, and she likes to lay down on the ground on the way back home. Nearly to the door and she drops to the ground and lays down. I walk over to her, and she lays on her side refusing to go anywhere. Sometimes it is funny, and sometimes I want to cry out of frustration. I try to pick her up, and she lets her body go limp. Sometimes when I turn my back on her, she will get up to follow, but not always. I think this is the period of testing my patience.
