Getting a little bit of a rest

In one of my earlier blog posts I wrote that I had moved to be a live-in caretaker for my mother. Well, I have been quite busy lately helping look after my mom and my sister, as well. I have been a chauffeur, nanny, and personal assistant for my sister while she recovers from surgery; and I have been a taxi driver for my mother taking her to appointments. Some nights I fall asleep rather quickly, and some nights I write. A little creative writing. It has been helping to escape to another world. So many stresses. More than I thought. Many distractions and so easy to get lost in the world of others. So easy to get behind on payments. My puppy can be a good distraction and a frustration as she is growing and learning. It must be why I am conducting more creative writing. A chance to escape to a world in search of meaning and wanting.
