This week has been a busy one. My mother had been in the hospital, and my sister had needed assistance this week. I have been running errands, taking nieces to and from school, and visiting my mom in the hospital. My mom is home today, and there has been more care-taking this week and I assume more care-taking and appointments in the future. I did start a go fund me page recently, but I haven't really promoted it. It is not really something I am comfortable with. It has been a little difficult lately to find the time to apply for a new job, and it has been a little difficult making car payments and payments for other bills. I hope when things calm down I will have more time for job searching. I left my last job to move and be a live-in caretaker for my mom, so I applied for unemployment to help with the bills in the meantime. However, the process time for approval of the unemployment claim is quite lengthy. It has been about 3 months and no final determination yet. I have inquired about the claim a few times already, but no new information was told to me. I am sure there are other claimants that have had to wait a long time for a determination. It is hard to not worry. I try to have hope and pray that at least something will be determined to get that issue off my head. But, I think I need to let go and look for other ways to take care of myself. Maybe a part time job at least. Hopefully soon things will calm down a bit.
